Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Glo Wellness services, including our website, booth sessions, and membership programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services Description
Glo Wellness provides self-service infrared light therapy and salt therapy (halotherapy) booth sessions. Our services are intended for relaxation and general wellness purposes only.
Important: Glo is not a medical facility. Our services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Always consult with a healthcare professional before beginning any new wellness routine.
Booking and Sessions
Reservations
Sessions must be booked in advance through our website or approved booking platforms. Walk-ins may be accommodated based on availability but are not guaranteed.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel or reschedule your session up to 2 hours before your scheduled time without penalty. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in:
- For pay-per-session bookings: Full charge of the session fee
- For members: Deduction of one session from your monthly allocation (Essential plan) or a $15 no-show fee (Unlimited/VIP plans)
Arrival and Session Conduct
Please arrive 2-3 minutes before your scheduled session. Sessions start at the scheduled time and cannot be extended due to late arrival. You are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of your booth and treating our facilities with respect.
Memberships
Billing
Memberships are billed monthly on the anniversary of your signup date. All payments are processed through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for your monthly membership fee.
Cancellation
All memberships are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. You may cancel your membership at any time through your online account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access until that date. No refunds are provided for partial months.
Pausing
You may pause your membership for up to 3 months per calendar year. During a pause, you will not be billed and will not have access to sessions. Your membership tier and pricing will be preserved.
Session Rollover
For the Essential plan (4 sessions/month), unused sessions do not roll over to the following month. Sessions reset on your billing date.
Health and Safety
Health Waiver
Before your first session, you must acknowledge our health waiver. By using our services, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 years old (or accompanied by a parent/guardian)
- You have consulted with your healthcare provider if you have any health conditions
- You are not pregnant (or have obtained clearance from your healthcare provider)
- You do not have active infections, open wounds, or contagious conditions
Contraindications
You should consult your doctor before using Glo if you have any of the following conditions:
- Pregnancy
- Active cancer or undergoing cancer treatment
- Epilepsy or seizure disorders
- Severe cardiovascular conditions
- Hemophilia or bleeding disorders
- Light-sensitivity conditions
- Use of photosensitizing medications
- Fever or acute illness
Assumption of Risk
You understand that infrared and salt therapy involve heat exposure and that you use our services at your own risk. You agree to follow all posted instructions and safety guidelines, and to exit the booth immediately if you feel unwell.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glo Wellness and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Glo in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use our facilities while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Bring food or beverages (other than water) into the booth
- Damage, deface, or tamper with our equipment or facilities
- Engage in any behavior that disturbs other guests
- Share your membership or guest passes with unauthorized users
- Use our services for any illegal purpose
We reserve the right to refuse service and terminate memberships for violation of these terms.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Glo Wellness and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
